Background: GMC wanted to help Building for America’s Bravest and The Tunnel to Towers Foundation build more Smart Homes for severely injured veterans.
The problem: There are 200+ veterans on a waiting list to receive one of these Smart Homes. And, the list of injured veterans keeps growing at an alarming rate.
Idea: To raise awareness and donations, we asked people to enlist to un-list these 200+ veterans. Our social movement #enlistme generated 83MM social impressions and helped raise millions of dollars in donations. And more importantly, it helped construct 18 new homes for our bravest heroes.
