THE FIRST FACEBOOK
VR Skydive
Over a hundred severely injured veterans have received Smart Homes. These high-tech homes allow them to start living their life again.
To raise awareness for the cause on Memorial Day, and show what's possible when these critically injured vets are able to stop surviving and start living again, we did the only logical thing: We tossed two of these recent Smart Home recipients out of a plane and took the Internet along for the ride. It was the first time in history that catastrophically injured veterans went skydiving using Facebook 360’s Virtual Reality.

MORE THAN
A PASSION PROJECT
In addition to helping build smart homes for severely injured veterans, the campaign was much more than a passion project for me. I put my heart and soul into it along with the rest of our team. It was nice to be recognized but these veterans are those who need it most.
